Kingdom of Belgium
At the heart of Europe, Belgium is a political, corporate, education, research and technology, military, and logistics center. The hub of the European Union’s governing institutions, and home to NATO headquarters, Brussels is also the capital of Belgium. Brussels has been ranked as one of the top cities in Europe for having regional headquarters of multinational corporations, and there are an estimated 4000 global corporations who have offices in Belgium. This is a country who touches nearly everyone. From major European logistics centers to breakthrough pharmaceuticals; from several of the top technology universities in the world to the European Space Agency’s In-orbit Satellite Testing and Control facility; from the world’s largest brewing company, AB InBev, to over 400 artisanal beers, it is hard not to somehow have a connection with Belgium. Managing Director Christian Bartley has worked with representatives of the Belgian federal and regional governments and trade offices for more than 20 years. He has received multiple appointments, by Royal Decree, to be an advisor to the Kingdom of Belgium for matters of trade and economics.
